intro

Today, diet and nutrition are just as important as exercise when it comes to living a healthy life. It’s also necessary for tackling chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes and hypertension. It’s not enough to exercise regularly, or even to eat a healthy balanced diet, the two must be combined to maximise the health and vitality.

Our Level 3 Nutrition for Physical Activity will equip you with the skills needed to assess the nutritional practices of others, and the knowledge to provide practical ‘real life’ solutions that will improve the dietary habits of your clients. It really is a vital qualification to have, regardless of your current field of expertise.

Accredited by YMCA Awards (formerly CYQ), the Level 3 course is delivered entirely through distance learning. This method of teaching provides great flexibility, especially for those already working in the industry. All your course materials are provided up front: a print manual, access to online learning resources, mock exams, and more. Combined with extensive support from our team of experienced tutors, available from the moment you enrol, we ensure you’re fully prepared by the time it comes to your final exam.

On its own, this qualification provides an excellent opportunity for continuing professional development (CPD). Pilates, Yoga and other group exercise instructors will instantly reap the benefits, as it enables you to provide an enhanced experience for your clients. The qualification is also a mandatory unit within the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, another indication of just how valuable nutritional knowledge is.

    Go with HFE

The HFE trainers/tutors are awesome and it has great online support. I like to get on at things in my own pace, so intensive learning was not for me. I've really enjoyed the online learning process.
