Intro

Today, diet and nutrition are just as important as exercise when it comes to living a healthy life. It’s also necessary for tackling chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes and hypertension. It’s not enough to exercise regularly, or even to eat a healthy balanced diet, the two must be combined to maximise the health and vitality.

Our Level 3 Nutrition for Physical Activity will equip you with the skills needed to assess the nutritional practices of others, and the knowledge to provide practical ‘real life’ solutions that will improve the dietary habits of your clients. It really is a vital qualification to have, regardless of your current field of expertise.

Accredited by YMCA Awards (formerly CYQ), the Level 3 course is delivered entirely through distance learning. This method of teaching provides great flexibility, especially for those already working in the industry. All your course materials are provided up front: a print manual, access to online learning resources, mock exams, and more. Combined with extensive support from our team of experienced tutors, available from the moment you enrol, we ensure you’re fully prepared by the time it comes to your final exam.

On its own, this qualification provides an excellent opportunity for continuing professional development (CPD). Pilates, Yoga and other group exercise instructors will instantly reap the benefits, as it enables you to provide an enhanced experience for your clients. The qualification is also a mandatory unit within the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, another indication of just how valuable nutritional knowledge is.

I was super impressed with the way HFE handled the administrative aspect of the course, as soon I rang up to enquire within days I was sent out the application forms and the manuals to get started.

All good so far, Amber has been really helpful and friendly putting me at ease due to my being an "older" student! Looking forward to receiving my manuals in the post and accessing online material. There was a slight computer glitch when enroling but Amber quickly sorted that out for me :-) Looking forward to a new career - starting with Level 2 gym instructor, next stop level 3 PT :-)

After researching various companies to decide where would be best to do my courses, I decide to call HFE. I really enjoyed my enrolment experience with Amber. I left knowing all the information I needed within one phone conversation and was offered ongoing support in case I missed anything. After further phone conversations with the HFE tutors, I am very confident that the course will meet my 5 star rating as well.
