The eLearning will walk you through all of the knowledge and understanding you will need to work effectively in the fitness industry once the sector reopens.
There are also a number of engaging and insightful video lectures presented by a GP and clinical exercise specialist, to explain how to structure and tailor an exercise programme to meet the needs of those clients affected physically, mentally, and emotionally by the effects of COVID-19.
The course also includes specific information about managing risks in the workplace, including the necessary steps you will need to take in order to reduce those risks, for yourself, your clients, and your colleagues.
We understand that currently, information on coronavirus and COVID-19 changes fast and the guidance from Government and other agencies is frequently updated. Each of the units presented in this course includes learning checks that are seamlessly embedded into the course content to consolidate your learning and understanding.
When you get to the end of each unit, you’ll be required to take a short online quiz to assess your knowledge and understanding. You’ll be presented with 10 questions in each section and you will need to answer all of these correctly to pass the unit.
Once you get to the end of the course and you have completed all of the assessments, you’ll get instant access to your digital certificate.
This course has been written for qualified exercise professionals across a variety of disciplines (gym, exercise to music, Pilates, Yoga).
We therefore strongly advise that you have, as a minimum, a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction to enrol on this course.
This course is delivered entirely online and you can study and learn at your own pace. The course will take the average learner 6-7 hours to complete, although you can take your time and re-complete elements if you wish to do so.
From the point of enrolment, you’ll automatically receive 6 months to complete this course online. This will give you plenty of time to progress through the online content and assessments.
