Every fitness professional has to start somewhere and as this is an entry-level course, there are no formal entry requirements or prerequisites.
What will help you get off to flying start however is some experience of using cardiovascular and resistance equipment, as well as free weights, in your local gym.
Before your first practical course weekend, we recommend 6-8 weeks of home study (based on an hour a day).
That will give you plenty of time to read through your Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology and Level 2 Gym Instructor manuals, try out the practice tests on LES (the Learner Engagement System) and complete the various workbooks.
