Make a splash and become an in-demand group exercise instructor with this exciting Level 2 qualification.
Aquatic fitness is very different from exercising on land and having the skills to teach classes in a pool can make you an in-demand instructor. Group exercise continues to grow in popularity and taking this activity away from the gym floor provides an exciting change of pace for those you teach. Our Level 2 Aqua Instructor course teaches you everything you need to know about planning and teaching effective exercise in water. You’ll also discover how water affects the body, and various techniques for teaching cardiovascular and muscular strength exercises.
The course is certified by YMCA Awards (formerly CYQ) and we deliver it with a mix of distance learning and practical sessions. This ensures you’ll have plenty of time to master the technical aspects of the course before you undertake your final assessment and teach a planned exercise session.

I did the level 2 group exercise course and loved it. The practical days were fun and I got to meet some lovely people. The ladies who ran the practical days were really down to earth and knowledgable.
I have recently completed my ETM level 2 course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a fantastic tutor who was so helpful with all the online theory learning. I worked full time so found it really hard to keep the phone calls we had scheduled, however she would always send emails and follow up with me weekly to check I was doing OK. The practical weekends were great fun and our tutors were fantastic.
I have recently completed my Level 2 ETM Course with HFE and would highly recommend it to anyone. From the minute I signed up they have been amazing. There is so much online support and everyone is friendly and so helpful. The two weekends are awesome! You learn so much from these and I met two tutors who were both amazing.
Webinars were very useful for me as this is the best way for me to study but you will need to read the manuals as well. I would definitely use HFE again, hoping to advance on my qualifications in 2016. Thanks
