Become a world-class yoga instructor by mastering ancient yogic principles and philosophy with this intensive, industry-leading course.
As a practice, yoga has a rich and fascinating history that dates back well over 5,000 years. Today, yoga is a holistic form of exercise used by many to create a stronger connection between the mind, body and spirit, develop flexibility, improve posture and aid relaxation.
There’s also a growing audience of athletes and other sports professionals using yoga to increase their performance and reduce the risk of injury. It is an incredibly inclusive and widely applicable form of exercise and the figures back that up. Reports in recent years suggest that yoga is the single most popular form of group exercise in the UK with over 1.2 million people taking part in classes in any given month.
Our Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga is a qualification designed to help you become a successful and impactful yoga instructor. On your journey to become a yogi, we’ll provide you with flexible study options to suit your schedule, practical yoga experience, and bespoke learning resources which include video lectures and yoga asana demonstrations.

Becoming a world-class yoga instructor takes much more than simply learning poses and breathing techniques. This is why we’ve designed a course that simply goes above and beyond, and that’s exactly what you need to further your yoga career.
Here’s a brief overview of what you’ll encounter on your yoga journey:
Learning about yoga is one thing, but to really exceed you’ll need to demonstrate the knowledge and skills you’ve gained. Our yoga teacher training course gives you ample opportunity to do that and here’s an overview of what you’ll encounter:
There are no formal entry requirements for our yoga course, but it would be beneficial if you already had a Level 2 Gym or Level 2 Exercise to Music qualification.
Additionally, it would be ideal if you have experience of performing yoga asana (poses) and attending yoga classes, this will give you the best possible head start.
Before you attend your first practical yoga weekend, we recommend that you complete 6-8 weeks of home study, based on an hour a day.
This will give you ample opportunity to read and understand your Level 2 and Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology, and your Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga manuals. You’ll also have access to LES (Learner Engagement System) where you’ll find a range of online learning resources including practice tests and video lectures.
Take your qualification further by combining it with others, saving money and benefiting from exclusive extras like videos, career support and job opportunities.

Good comprehensive manual. Very good online course. Written exam gives confidence that the certificate is worth working for.
The support I received whilst doing the course was exceptional. My tutor, Gil Cramer, was on the end of the phone whenever I needed help or would reply immediately to my emails with clear precise explanations to help me complete the course.
I have now completed six courses with HFE and they have been an excellent course provider. The tutors are very knowledgeable and the learner support team are also supportive and helpful.
I found that the staff in the office and the course tutors communicated well with each other as my office tutor was able to fully support me, even though we had never met.
