intro

Experts from the World Health Organisation (WHO) predict that by 2030, almost 75% of men and 63% of women in the UK will be classed as obese. Numerous conditions associated with obesity are also set to become more prevalent including diabetes, lower back pain, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

With the NHS being stretched like never before, and the cost of treating these diseases well into billions of pounds, now more than ever specialised exercise professionals are needed to play a key part in fighting this epidemic.

The Level 4 Obesity and Diabetes Certificate is designed to allow you to work closely with clinicians and others within the medical community. You’ll gain the highly sought-after skills to devise and deliver exercise programmes for those with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or obesity. The course is also perfectly suited for fitness instructors and personal trainers looking to expand their client base.

If you’re ready to be a part of the Government’s pledge to create a downward trend in overweight adults by 2020, this qualification is your opportunity to really make a difference.

A really enjoyable and highly useful training experience!

I really enjoyed my training with HFE - the course booklet was succinct and very clear, with enough detail to assist with my learning. I loved the course - the tutor was very knowledgeable, allowed us to discuss and share ideas and facilitated a very enjoyable and useful weekend course. HFE were easy to contact and provided excellent support and what I learnt from the course I applied immediately and with great success. Would very much recommend HFE to anyone looking to further their development in the fitness industry.
