Level 3 Nutrition Advisor for Physical Activity

This is a must-have nutrition qualification for anyone working in the fitness profession and who wants to help their clients to improve their dietary habits and practices.

Course Overview

In today’s world, proper diet and nutrition is just a vital as regular exercise when it comes to living a healthier and happier life. It’s also necessary for combating the all-too-prevalent chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes and hypertension. It’s simply not enough to just exercise regularly or to only have a healthy, balanced diet, the two must be effectively combined.

For everyday people, however, understanding what constitutes a healthy diet isn’t always easy or straightforward. As an exercise professional looking to help your clients to change their lives, this Level 3 Nutrition to Support Physical Activity is an essential starter qualification.

This nutrition qualification is also a mandatory part of the Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, but it also represents a fantastic CPD opportunity for Pilates instructors, yoga teachers and group exercise professionals looking to expand the range of services they offer to clients.

Developing an expert level of nutrition goes above and beyond understanding good fats from bad fats, or knowing the different food groups. Diet and nutrition are so fundamental to healthy living that you need to be able to separate fact from fiction and confidently give clients advice based on the prevailing evidence.

  • Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this Level 3 Nutrition course. Due to the nature of what you’ll be learning, we do recommend you already have a Level 2 Fitness Instructor Certificate, ideally in gym or exercise to music.
