Fast Track Your Career in Fitness

CV Connect is a HFE exclusive and is only available to graduates of our training courses and qualifications. You really won’t get a better fitness industry recruitment solution anywhere else!

We developed CV Connect in response to the growing number of training providers in the industry advertising their courses with guaranteed interviews. In reality, these interviews are for self-employed positions where the newly qualified trainer is subject to paying hundreds of pounds in rent to the club before they can train their clients. We know from feedback from our students that this model just doesn’t work for those starting out which is why we created CV Connect.  The practice of advertising a guaranteed interview or job with a course is highly misleading and it just isn’t how we do business.

  • Achieve Your Qualification

    When your studies are over and you've achieved your qualification, you'll get instant access to the CV Connect module in your online Learner Engagement System (LES).

    From the date that you achieve your qualification, you'll have around 6-weeks to get your CV into shape before your online account deactivates.

  • Upload Your CV

    Once you've completed your course and you have access to CV Connect, you'll be able to upload your CV in a PDF format.

    We strongly advise that before you do this, you take some time to update it so it includes your latest set of qualifications, skills and abilities. It's best not to rush because you only get one first chance to make an impression. You can't reapply to the same club unless you complete more qualifications.

  • Search for Employers

    Once you've added your CV, you simply need to press the 'find employers' button and the system will search all the employers in your area. You can define with the distance variable how far you're willing to travel. The postcode will be pre-populated with yours, but don't worry if you've moved, because you can always change this.

    ***Remember to let us know if you do move so that we send your certificates to the right address***

  • Get Connected

    When you hit the submit button, your CV will be 'connected' overnight with the employers that you've selected and they'll be in touch with details of the current opportunities that they have.

    Sometimes, you might also be asked to apply directly via the employer's own platform, but don't worry, CV Connect will let you know.

  • No Account, No Password, No Hassle

    We know that our employer partners are busy running their own businesses and they don't need to be managing applications or accounts in different places on the web - this is why we don't ask you to create an account. If however you do need to make a data change, just let us know and we'll update this for you right away.

  • Simple, Safe and Secure

    We take data security extremely serious and we go to extensive measures to keep your data safe and secure. Your contact details will be locked within our secure Learner Engagement System and even our students don't see these when they apply. All they see is the club name and location.

    Also, our graduate's CV's aren't attached to the emails, they're retrieved by selecting an encrypted URL that will then start a secure connection and download. After a few weeks, this URL will expire, so you don't have to worry about potential data breaches from your inbox.
