Our fundamentals of yoga meditation course is assessed entirely online through a series of open-book, multiple-choice knowledge questions. All questions are presented in the context of a yoga teacher and how the information presented relates to this role. Everything that you need to know to pass this course is provided in the learning materials.
Each module in the course contains both learning and assessment activities. When you have completed the learning and you feel ready to be assessed, you simply complete the online knowledge workbooks to demonstrate your understanding of the core subjects. Each knowledge workbook has a 100% pass mark, but you can re-complete any questions you answer incorrectly as many times as you need to.

If you are already a qualified yoga teacher, then yes, you can teach meditation to others, individuals or groups. The content in this yoga meditation course goes beyond what is included in standard yoga instructor courses and as such, will enable you to deliver a more comprehensive and authentic yogic meditation session to your students.
If you aren’t a qualified yoga teacher, then unfortunately, you shouldn’t be teaching meditation (or any other yogic activities) to others because you don’t have the training or qualifications to do so. If you are interested in becoming a yoga teacher, this is an area we specialise in and would be more than happy to give you some advice.
This depends on how much time you have to commit to study and how quickly you progress through the learning. Most students will complete this course within a couple of weeks, although some students have completed it in considerably less.
Broadly speaking, the course has approximately 10-12 hours of learning, depending on how long it takes you to read the online learning content, watch the lectures, participate in the guided meditation practices, and of course make notes. If you need to re-take any of the assessments, this may also increase the time it takes you to complete the course.
This programme is primarily taught in the context of hatha yoga, which is the foundational branch of yoga that focuses on physical postures (asana) and yogic breathing techniques (pranayama) that are used to prepare the mind for meditation (dhyana). That said, throughout the course there are plenty of links and references to other styles of yoga, including Vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga yoga, and Yin for example.
Perhaps. This course is primarily designed for yoga teachers to help them to improve their knowledge and understanding of meditation, and how to teach it more effectively to others. If, however, you have an active interest in learning about the science of meditation and the many styles and techniques used in yoga to support your own practice, then you may in fact get a lot of personal benefit, yes.
The guided practices in this meditation course are delivered by a highly skilled and experienced teacher with thousands of teaching hours under her belt. If you truly want to experience an authentic yoga meditation experience to improve your own practice and mental focus, then you will get a lot of value from this course.
