What is your background with exercise and fitness training?

I attend a lot of classes and I teach Zumba and Zumba Step. I have always been active from a young age so when the chance came I decided to expand my knowledge and do my Exercise To Music.

Why did you choose the course you did?

I chose Exercise To Music as it will open up a lot more opportunities for me to be able to teach Zumba and Zumba Step in local gyms. I’m also very interested in teaching ‘Legs, Bums and Tums as well’. My Zumba ladies are also very keen on a half an hour abs class after their Zumba class which has proven to be very popular!

Why did you choose HFE to deliver your training?

The timings of the trainings were very suitable for me as I work Mon-Fri! The pricing was very good compared to others that were far more expensive and the different payment options were also very helpful. Great reviews about the courses too!

What did you enjoy most about your course?

It was very detailed, it was great to learn new things as I’ve not done anything like this before. Karen our tutor was fab, very helpful and amazing at what she does!
It was very hard trying to fit in revision, online learning/plans, practicing sessions in between working Mon-Fri and also teaching classes five nights a week! But all the hard work for the few months paid off!

How would you rate the quality of teaching provided by your course tutors?

As above the course tutor was fab, very professional, easy to ask for help!

To what extent did you feel supported during the home-study phase of your course?

My home study tutor Gregg was very helpful, always emailing or ringing if I needed help and helped within every question that was asked!

How would you rate the teaching and learning materials provided to you?

All was very helpful and detailed! Books were great to revise from, mock exams were fab; I found them very helpful!

What is your current role?

I teach 4 Zumba classes and 1 Zumba step class a week! Now I’ve passed my ETM I have started doing 2 Abs Blast classes a week too which are building up nicely!

What are your future training and career plans?

I am going to start applying to gyms soon to hopefully get some morning classes. Which will then enable me to cut down my hours at my regular job and gain more fitness classes which is my passion!
